A.A. Ron Rodgers steals the show in new Key & Peele Super Bowl preview video

Who needs Super Bowl XLIX when you have comedy duo “Key & Peele’s” East/West Bowl III, the pro edition? Unlike the past two editions of the Comedy Central bit, which basically makes fun of all the funky names in football, this third iteration of East/West Bowl introductions incorporates a few NFL cameos of faces and names fans will certainly recognize, including A.A. Ron Rodgers. (That’s pronounced Rod-Gers, by the way.)
The made-up characters with names as crazy as Swordless Mimetown, Grunky Peep, Strumptavian Roboclick, J.R. Junior Juniors Jr., Myriad Profiteroles and Takittothu’ Limit are played alternately by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. But the others seen in the video, including Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Leger Douzable, D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Prince Amukamara, Fozzy Whittaker, Ishmaa’ily Kitchen, Frostee Rucker and A.A. Ron Rodgers (well, kind of), are 100 percent real NFL football players.
If you can’t get enough (or if you just want to see more), here are the first two versions of the East/West Bowl skit.
